Jamie' choreographic interests currently include storytelling through dance and museo-choreographic relationships. He is currently engaged in an MA by Research at London Contemporary Dance School. In 2002 he graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BA Hons (1st Class) in French and Drama. He began his Dance training at the École Professionelle Superieur d’Enseigement de la Danse (EPSEDanse) in Montpellier, France before going on to complete a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance at London Contemporary Dance School. Following this he was joint winner of the Deutsch Bank Pyramid Award scheme which allowed him to set up dance partnership Arty Physical Intelligence in Edinburgh, with colleague Gemma Kempthorne. Jamie has danced with Aletta Collins Dance Company and has worked as a dancer/choreographer with the National Theatre of the Faroe Islands.
Since returning to the northwest, Jamie has worked as a lecturer in Contemporary Dance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, the Northern Ballet School, the University of Chester, and is currently a full time lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire on the BA (Hons) Dance, Performance & Teaching.

i am a theatre artist, writer and cyberformer; my area of speciality is cyberformance - that is the use of the internet as a site for live performance. i have a MA (Research) in cyberformance from QUT. i'm the project manager for UpStage, which is a purpose-built web-based platform for cyberformance. i'm also the web queen of the magdalena project, an international network of women in contemporary performance.
